In June 2025 i took the decision, yet again, to give manufacturing another shot.
I had planned to manufacture in Jita and a low sec location. And i aimed to manufacture items that are in low demand, high margins, low competition.
But i decided this was not scalable and would remain forever opportunistic.
The numbers for 2025
Manufacturing Sales in 2025 (since June) were 67 billion..
I know the margins have been above 25%. Take off the 3.57% transaction tax and 1.5% broker fees (and lets dangerously assume no relist fees). So i would expect the 68 billion sales to have made me around 13 billion of profits. So about 2 billion per month.
Not yet in Omega territory but close.
Idea content
I am reading other blogs to pick up ideas. Namely: I wanna be a Trillionaire, so frickin' bad..., and Manufacturing for Wealth: An EVE Online Industrialist's Log.
They are following the more traditional manufacturing path of higher volumes and decent margins with competition - which is what i should be doing.
T2 rigs, mobile depots and hulls, in highsec and low sec.
The use Eve Guru and a contract tool from SirSmashalot which i need to get my head around.
Manufacturing in 2026
Therefore, in 2026 i intend to look into how to add more general manufacturing business model to my efforts.
It is February already and i have made some progress. Trying to get my act together and started manufacturing Orca's and Freighters. Sold two Orca's so far, so not going badly.
In January i did manufacturing sales of 7 billion. It will likely be quieter in February but i am getting it to work now and stream lining the process.
Manufacturing Facilities
My base of operations is in Khanid, in the player owned stations i am doing market seeding in. the system is Kihtaled.
The miners in the systems provide me with enough Minerals and i sometimes send my Obelisk off to Amarr to pick up the rest of the required input materials.
Manufacturing items
As well as the >1 billion isk efforts in Orca's and Freighters I also produce the basic T1 items that are being sold in the system: ammo; rigs etc.
For these small T1 items i have bought the Blueprints and part of my operations is to improve their material efficiency and then make multiple BPOs. For the Orca's and Freighters i use BPOs.
My spreadsheets are basic but combined with the Eve Excel Addin they work well.
Lets see how this all goes.
