This is a key question i have to answer. Over my 7 Omega accounts i am effectively spending 12 billion isk to buy the Omega = 1.7 billion isk per month (a recent 12 month deal).
Each account must therefore generate at least 1.7 billion isk of profit each month to justify the Omega status.
Its all very well generating pre-Omega profits of 70 to 100 billion each month but if that is concentrated on 3 accounts, say, then the other accounts are merely a burden to the rest of the business.
The location of my seven accounts are:
Account 1: Jita / Dodixie / Amarr
Account 2: Jita / Rens / Hek
Account 3: Jita / Sobaseki / Tash-Murkon Prime
Account 4: Jita / Arnon / Alentene
Account 5: Jita / null sec / null sec
Account 6: Orovile / null sec / null sec
Account 7: Jita / Dodixie / Hek (manufacturing account)
Which are profitable enough?
The Chart below plots some of these accounts. The lines show the estimated profit of each account based on their revenues for each month after paying for Omega. So a line above 0 means it pays for the Omega and so justifies itself.
Accounts 1 to 3 consistently make over 1.7 billion isk per month, by a long way. So they clearly justify being in Omega status.
Account 4 (Jita / Arnon / Alentene) is a bit more patchy but mostly justifies itself.
Account 7 is the new manufacturing Account so i am giving it longer but so far it is generating enough profits - except over the last 2 months where i have neglected it.
Accounts 5 & 6
Unfortunately, i appear to have bought 12 more months of Omega until July 2026 for both of them - so i need to make them work whether i like it or not. This occurred because i was pretty much through a bottle of red wine and was not really thinking things through when i was buying 12 more months of Omega.
The obvious idea is to either make their trading locations work or move to new locations.
Food for thought . . . . . . . . lets see where the journey takes us on these.
